History of Tartanos War

The 5th Tartanos War (D.A. 823 - A.C. 1029)

The 5th Tartanos War was called Falma War by the Coellis sect to remember that it was won through salvage. The Macuapel
sect called it Matariel War and it was named after their devil. This was the last period of Tartanos War.

The power of Primodium which was produced in A.C. 822 woke up the devil, Matariel who was sleeping in the middle of the
continent and Nord island which was located in Northeast of the continent. Matariel, who was the devil of conspiracy and
plot, established a base on Karls, and tried to inspire wicked greed into the leaders of people and instigate the internal
conflicts. At the same time, he prepared a strong force to revive Macuapel.

The power of the Coellis sect was systemized thanks to the efforts of Harriot Wilton. However, after several generations
after his death, there were conflicts and conspiracies to gain power. Naturally the conspiracy of Matariel influenced this, and
the greed of leaders caused the disruption of the united allies of Coellis. The Macuapel sect watched and prepared for this,
so it was natural for them to win the victory against the Coellis sect. The castles of the Coellis sect that collapsed from inside
fell to the power of the Macuapel sect one by one. CRONOUS was the only survivor and it was fighting desperately because
it was the center of the Coellis sect. Fortunately it could sustain itself because the three sides were blocked by the Fons
river and Efferus Montanus, and in south, Letisia was playing the role of gatekeeper in military.

At that time, there was a strong force led by Erik Sikuris, a strong general who once was a savage fighter. He defended
against the attack of Matariel with his great charisma and leadership. Also he was a sincere believer in the Coellis sect, so
he was not influenced by the cunning tricks of Matariel. Sikuris fought in the battle with his best savage friend, Seth and Loa
Larosh, a magician who came to Letisia to avoid the conflict.

As the battle continued for a long time, Ralph Schreder, who was the general of the Macuapel sect and came from the Dark
Knight, took his force and attacked without any specific order to distinguish himself. However, the force of general Serkis
was not tough and Schreder lost all the soldiers. He survived alone and ran away to Sitis Terra. Feeling ashamed and
helpless, Schreder was dying slowly in the desert of Sitis Terra. Matariel found Schreder and took his soul and then gave him
a body which resembled a wart, making him stronger than ever.

Less than one month after the first defeat of Schreder, a female Black Magician, Idra and Slade of Dark Knight, and Schreder
all attacked Letisia. In a bloody battle which lasted 7 weeks, finally Serkis killed Schreder, and Larosche killed Idra, and Seth
killed Slade. However they all died too. Dark Knight lost 3 leaders, but didn’t stop the attack because they outnumbered the
Coellis sect. Letisia fell because it lost Serkis due to the repeated attacks, and subsequently CRONOUS was taken. Finally all
the castles of CRONOUS continent were captured and Matariel was preparing the final ritual to revive Macuapel.

The Macuapel sect penetrated the mountatin which divides Sitis Terra and Efferus Montanus and contructed a huge
Montanus shrine. They fixed Primodium which was located in the deep underworld of God’s Footstep in CRONOUS. Also they
made Ketters Temple and Ketters Pain to grow the group, at the same time, they finished the preparation of reviving
Macuapel. Monsters appeared in the peaceful forest of sage in CRONOUS, and the bodies of those who were killed in the
battle stood up in Sitis Terra. Other ominous things were being repeated, and such a power of the Macuapel sect was
covering the entire continent.

Some unknown group invaded into CRONOUS at the moment that the last ritual of revival was prepared. They were very
quick and dominated guards quietly. Also they could hide themselves instantly. Unlike fighters, magicians and savages, they
were using a whole different method in the battle. At the same time, a mysterious life that had a strong power appeared in
Letisia and attacked the Macuapel sect. They had black bodies and had a very different appearance compared to human
beings and destroyed Dark Knight in a minute with their strong hands.

The revival of Macuapel was prevented thanks to them and Macuapel was sealed. The force that attacked CRONOUS was
Valkyrie. They noticed the fact that every time the balance of power in the continent was broken, there was chaos. They
worried that the revival of Macuapel would break the balance of power completely. So they came out of Valkyrie island for
themselves. The group that attacked Letisia was Demon tribe. Their origin was related to the Alien God that came with
Macuapel. They needed the power of Primodium to get back to their own world, so they chased the move of Primodium for
1000 years. Demon got Primodium and they went to their base to wait for the day that the channel to the Alien World would
be open by the power of Primodium.

However, the Valkyrie group worried that Demon who got Primodium might not go back to their own world. They attacked
the Demon group who were going back and took Primodium. And then they threw Primodium into the lava of the strata to
stop the greed that they could have.

After this incident, there was a strong hostility between Valkyrie and Demon. Demon again chased Primodium. Also the
Valkyrie group noticed the fact that there was always some possibility that the balance of power in the continent could be
broken completely. So they sent Valkyries all over the continent. At that time, Sidus was trying to revive Macuapel again.

The Coellis sect, who overcame the crisis thanks to unexpected tribes, regretted their greed and reflected on their conduct.
They cooperated with each other with a stronger belief than ever. However, since all the castles in the continent had
collapsed, it took more than 30 years to sweep the remaining power of the Macuapel sect after the seal of Matariel.

After losing Primodium, the power of Macuapel followers was weakened because there was no more revival of the devil.
They hid in the underground world and waited for the Hallow day which will come 1000 years later. For almost 1000 years,
CRONOUS was peaceful, without any war.

However the savages who remember the last Tartanos War still worried about the war, watching Meier island where
Matariel was sealed.
